The rant starts:

I have read dozens of journals here in DA where people complain about something other people draw or write here. For example, if someone is disgusted about certain thing, say, some spesific fetish and drawings related to that, they have to write a journal and rant about how much it disgusts them and how artists who draw stuff like that should be banned.
If I run into an image which I don't like here, I just get out of that page and forget about it. The artist can draw or write whatever he/she likes, I don't have to like it, neither do I have to watch it.

Every once in a while I run into copycats, art thieves or people who are stealing some artist's identity, claiming that everything the artist has done is really his/her. Just what in the name of everything that is holy is wrong with these people? Why do they do that? If they want attention or credit, why don't they do something to earn it on their own? I just don't understand how these people can live with themselves. Don't they understand that people in the internet are as real as people walking down the street?

And why, just why people rape poor Caps Lock? It doesn't make anything they write any more beliavable, respectful or powerful, it just makes the writers look like little angry kids. And on top of that it's very irritating to read.

My point is to ask, WTF is going on here? Why are people so negative and selfish when they are on the internet? Does the fact that people don't really know who you are give you permission to be rude?
