I think mandrills are interesting and cool looking animals, and I'm trying to improve in drawing different weapons and using my watercolours.
-Do I need other excuses for this?
Oh, and in case someone didn't get it, I still want him to look more like a human than a monkey, so his face has humanlike features and I didn't give him tail.

I like the picture!
I always envy when I see how good some people are with watercolours. The weapons really look like metall (and they're cool too). And I sooo like the shiny effect you made with the gemstone hes wearing on his leg/foot.
The face is GREAT! So many details and I like how you "shaded" the eye.
Btw. how big is the original paper, coz I can imagen, putting details with watercolours is difficult
